The Experience
We'll splash, we'll play, and dress up to imagine life under the sea. Will we find sparkly pearls from a ship wreck treasure? Will we sing our favorite songs with the fish? The mermaids will get wet in an inflatable pool setup as well as in our under the sea set. With the chosen collection, we will work on create those perfect wall art pieces and storybooks that the children will long treasure and feel so special to be spotlighted in.

When I photograph a child in their world of imagination, we take our time to create a story they are the main character(s) of. A magical tale of their days spent under the sea and perhaps coming up for air to experience the world and feel the sun while they splash their tales among the waves.
As a mama of five, I have held on to every snuggle and giggle and endearing moment when my toddler brings me a flower in the garden with a sweet, “for you mama!” Are there any words more tender to a mothers years. It brings me so much joy to help others remember those memories and just how much they touched your heart.
11 years ago before I had children, I had just gotten around to putting our own wedding portrait on the wall. I did not prioritize family wall art then, the way I do now. Now our children's smiles and our family laughter is embodied in beautiful portrait wall art we enjoy daily. Every time I climb the stairs, or come in through the front door. Our kids are celebrated and feel important and loved seeing themselves on the wall. All those trips on long days up and down the stairs of with laundry remind me as a mom of what is important and motivate me to be present.
Over the past 17 years I have had the joy of learning the art of storytelling for families with their beautiful milestones. I can’t wait to hold your hand through this stage of motherhood and help you cherish it the way I have learned to.

Starfish
We take gently care to not rush our newborn sessions. These take place in our home studio located in Longmont, CO or in your own home. Sessions are typically 2.5 hours total. They may include siblings, mom and dad. If gram and gramps are around we will include them as well
Newborn Session
Working with large groups is one of my super powers. We will capture all the love and crazy but most importantly that heirloom full family portraits. No matter the size of the group, we will plan ahead to make sure all the intended relationships are covered, grandparents with grandkids, the full party.
Extended Family Session
These sessions are just as playful and loving as can be. We run and spin and hug and play. I love to capture those intimate hugs and nose to nose kisses.
Mom and Me Session
Length of time varies in our family sessions, but mind you, I have four children of my own, and I know how to work fast. Some sessions those littles may only have patience for a short period, others may not want to stop playing! We work together until we feel the intended moments and relationships have been captured.
Family Session
This session is one your child will never forget. Perfect for a birthday surprise. Let your little one experience the full fun of hair and makeup, choosing a costume from our full selection and become a character for a day. After the session, we work our magic with composite skills to bring their fairytale dreams to life.
Imaginarium Session
These sessions are simply a memorable blast. We will work together to select a custom theme during a consultation. From there we will get together and laugh and play. Frosting, crumbles and a bath for the babe are messy and such fun! These sessions take place in studio or on location.
Cake Smash Session
After our newborn session 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 2-5 years make for wonderful milestone sessions. These rapid changing months go so quickly and we will customize the perfect look and theme for you. Sessions may involve some birthday sparkle fun too!
Milestone Session
With all the specialty treatment! This session comes with all the details. Hair and makeup included. Sessions last between 2-3 hours at up to 3 locations in Boulder County. Up to 4 outfits included!
a Cherry on Top
This session includes up to 3 outfits at one location in Boulder County. We will capture all the fun vibes. 60 mins
Grad with Glam
If you are looking for the basics, this session is for you. These sessions include traditional grad attire as well as what formal vibe they have under the gown. 20-30 mins at one location in Boulder County.
